And for goodness sake. Don't start going on about how the book is good if it caused a reaction and made me think about it for a few days... I don't want to be thinking about THAT. Ew. I like trashy novels and tweeness (it's a nice break to not have to think too deep) but that was too weird.

I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank-you to everyone who's been so supportive. Really. THANK YOU. I've found recently that drawing about the down parts when I'm feeling awful has really helped get the bad stuff out of my system. So cheers for putting up with me, and for all the amazing feedback that you keep on giving. It means so much!

on another note, I need to invest in a new scanner... I've only just realized how messy alot of my images are...

sadness on a friday.

I need to vent from this weekend. there's more to come.

Yesterdayness.

So alot happend yesterday, and I plan to make a epic-ly long comic (for me anyway) to try and vent some of my usual angst (surprise surprise) Unfortunately I've got to start a new sketch book, as I filled my other one with so many pictures of my face, but the only one I've go is the one I took to last Octobers MCM Expo (a pretty big convention) where I interveiwed the likes of Mark Ellerby, Adam Cadwell and Lizz Lunney for my dissertation/essay. This sketchbook contains an original Cadwell as he drew me my own little April holding an itty bitty dictaphone - cause I took him a MASSIVE bottle of Vimto (That's right. I'm a hardcore fan) so to mark this new stage, I thought I'd share it with you today as a nice start - apologies for my tired face, I've had 2 hours sleep and a 4 and a half hour commute today... I'm vay tired.

Introducing the crafty bookmaker.

So as I said in my previously posted comic... I finished ONE of my final university projects! I may still have five to go, but it does feel like things are coming together at last! I thought I'd actually post some pictures of this, because it's so very different to the things I usually do, This was a book making project with the main title theme 'Emotive' I then had to pick a 'sub-theme' which was 'sentimental' and for that I based my handcrafted books on weddings and pairs. the confetti is actually a complete book I made... and then obliterated... - It's amazing altered book really... and then some pages from my artist's journal... That's actually how I roll when I'm doing something art/content based! Thought you might like to see!

Tired.

So. I'm rather tired and have ended up having one of those days where you do loads of work for it all to go wrong near the end. I put it down to hay-fever and sleep deprivation. Here is a comic I planned to draw up months ago but was too lazy to do. And since I was too lazy to draw something today, it's what you've ended up with. I'm amazed how bad my proportions are when I'm sleepy... I'm so pleased that the Conversation Returns was so much better (and received!) x
